A New Website

Hi folks! I now have a new website! You can see what trips we'll be doing, get information about them, sign up, as well as get cultural information of interest to you. I will be adding new features as we go forward, such as: brochures illustrating the trips, as well as detailed itineraries; a way to pay for trips online; and short articles that I'll be writing. For examples: why the Black and Red Seas are color named, what are the Kosher dietary laws about, and the ethnogenesis of various peoples that we will meet on a given trip.

I hope you will find our new blog and website helpful and informative.

So there!!!

Wish I could have eaten it too. Looked delicious.

Wondering where all the juice came from since the rice was there soaking it up. Only from the tomato sauce and the meat?

We didn’t see the tomato sauce and the sugar added either.

Hi Ron, What a delight that you are going to make foods you love from all over the world. I live in Israel and make chicken soup, very much as you do, quite frequently. For some reason, parsnips are very scrawny here and are sold individually at a high price so I leave them out. Your method of double boiling does make a stronger flavoured soup but is much more time consuming. I use my pressure cooker to save a lot of time. The pressure gets even more goodness out of the chicken and the bones.

BTW, you have a lovely kitchen.
